Chi of Life Fitness retreat allows you to escape from your day-to-day routine and focus on your wellness in a stunning location. Whether you’re in fighting fit shape or have let your fitness routine lapse, or maybe you have injuries that has restricted you, each guest is guided at their own fitness level. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a seasoned pro our workouts can be turned up or down depending on your personal needs. It’s up to you to decide how much you want to push yourself to get into shape.

Explore the beautiful Sunshine Coast with fitness adventures. You will enjoy morning walks on the beach and day trips to surrounding rainforests and Noosa National Park where you will experience one of the most beautiful National Park walks in the world. Winding along the coastal track you can see whales, dolphins and turtles and have a swim in the clear blue ocean, climb Mt Coolum, explore the walking tracks at the Glasshouse Mountains, cycle on bike paths around the coast, aqua class or yoga on the beach.

You choose what kind of physical activity you take part in – whether it be more gentle low intensity exercise like yoga, pilates, stretching, water aerobics and walks on the beach or higher intensity workouts like beach bootcamp, HIIT training, boxing or strength and cardio workouts or combination of both.

We recognise that everybody is unique and are motivated and inspired in different ways with different abilities.

No one body is the same as another and we all come in gorgeous unique shapes, sizes, fitness levels and health conditions. That’s why limiting the number of participants to maximum 8 allows us to tailor your workout to your individual needs and ability, giving you the dedicated attention, you deserve.

First Day

On arrival we start with a weigh in and take your measurements, then you will have a health assessment this gives us a chance to talk to you about what you want to achieve while participating in the program. As many people come to us with per-existing injuries, we spend some time going over these to determine the right exercise options for you including modifying your exercise activities if you have injuries. Your fitness evaluation will assist us in determining both your target heart rate and personal calorie targets for you to achieve the best results.

Weekly reviews

Depending on your fitness level or health condition a program will be tailored to suit you and if unable to participate in all the group activity personal activity will be arranged for you. Gwen will be your Personal Coach and will monitor your progress during your stay with weekly catch-up sessions to review your journal and set new goals for the week. You will be given a journal to record your heart rate and time in training zone and calorie expanded through exercise. You are supported during your stay and monitored so you can achieve the best results.

Chi of Life’s Personal Trainers are leaders in the industry who are passionate about helping you achieve the best result. You will be inspired, motivated, encouraged and supported through your exciting journey at Chi of Life. All exercise activities are in small groups with a trainer.

How much exercise is there?

The amount of exercise and intensity is personalised to each guest and all activities are optional.
Two to three daily exercise sessions are scheduled Mon to Sat depending on the goals of each guest more or less exercise can be adjusted to your program.
Sunday is a rest and recover day starting with Yin yoga.
